Background<\/h2>\n

The Trevor Platt Science Foundation (TPSF) was launched in August 2021 to promote #capacitybuilding #research and #education in #oceansciences, with a strong emphasis on international networking, to nurture the next generation of young scientists and give them the tools they need to succeed in their chosen careers.<\/p>\n

Symposium<\/h2>\n

The first TPSF science symposium<\/a> is entitled: Trends, <\/span>R<\/span>eflections, <\/span>E<\/span>volution, and <\/span>V<\/span>isions in <\/span>O<\/span>cean <\/span>R<\/span><\/strong>esearch<\/strong> and will be hosted by Plymouth Marine Laboratory<\/a> in August 2023.\u00a0<\/span>The symposium will include keynote and invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, and networking sessions. There is also an associated training course<\/a> on satellite-based tools for investigating aquatic ecosystems<\/strong> for early career scientists, technicians, students (BSc, MSc and PhD) and post-doctoral scholars involved in aquatic ecosystems research.<\/p>\n
